Thank you to all the parents who responded to my survey. It is very much appreciated. I will continue to run the site throughout the year. There was alot of positive feedback from the site. I have had problems this past week updating the homework from our classroom because the computer has been freezing. Hopefully, the problem is now solved and we will try to keep the homework board up to date.

Moscrop field trip was a success. Thank you to all the parents who took the time to assist us in driving. We plan to go again to another session in February. The topic is Bunsen Burner use. It sounds like a very interesting workshop.

The students began their EGG project today. Only 3 eggs were broken on Day 1. Hopefully we'll have the remaining eggs intact on Friday. The students develop responsibility to care for something else. They are encouraged to take the egg everywhere with them or find it a babysitter. Thank you for supporting this project. A lot of the eggs have furniture in their homes or are dressed in unique clothing.

We are starting a new novel today. It is called White Jade Tiger. It is about a girl in Victoria who travels back in time to the 1880s when the Canadian Pacific Railway was being built. Students will usually be assigned one chapter a night to read, along with completing a response to their reading.

A. Friday, December 3rd is Hat Day B. We are holding a Food drive during the week of December 6th. The leadership students are creating Food Hampers for families in need.
